Musician Bruno K says just because a man has a child with a woman, it does not necessarily make him her partner. He believes that many women mistakenly assume that having a child with someone automatically cements a romantic relationship.
Bruno shared his perspective in response to the growing trend of baby mamas airing grievances online.
He criticised this approach, urging women to seek resolution through more traditional channels, like involving family members or elders, instead of turning to social media for sympathy.
He pointed out that he has been a frequent target of such accusations, with various women accusing him of being a “deadbeat father” and neglecting his parental responsibilities.
If you come out and speak about the father of your child in public, and bash his career, how’s it going to benefit your child and you? You still expect financial support from this man, and you’re killing his job.
What makes someone your man? He has taken you to the altar, married you, come to your parents, introduced you, or held a nikkah or even a ceremony at URSB. But if he has never done any of those things, he isn’t your man, even if you have a child together.
