Popular singer John Kasadha, better known as John Blaq, has shared a moment when he was chased out of the studio because of his voice.
He recollects that the producer chased him away saying he sounded like a frog because his voice was different and unique from the rest of the artists.
At first, I didn’t know that my voice was precious and that people would love it very much because the first producer I went to chased me away saying I sounded like a frog.
After being sent packing, he collected himself and went to Producer Daddy Andre who loved his craft and the two made magic, turning him into a star.
He explained that he wanted to sing as the late Mowzey Radio and would always go to the jungle to smoothen his vocals but he found out that he was only forcing life and decided to ditch it.
John Blaq opted for his natural voice and when he made a demo for Daddy Andre, he loved the craft and the two got along, churning out a couple of hit songs which would see him dominate the entertainment space.
