Music producer Nash Wonder has made claims about his past collaborations with Sheebah Karungi, revealing that he was never paid for her biggest hits.
Nash alleges that he was unpaid for producing Sheebah’s popular tracks like Ice Cream and Twesana, songs that helped cement her presence in the Ugandan music industry.
I had passion for art. I was hungry to make it, so when you see someone with talent, you just want to help them.
Driven by a desire to build his reputation and support budding artists, Nash prioritized his passion over payment, leading to these collaborations that would later become major hits.
Nash Wonder first made his mark in Uganda’s music scene in 2012 after producing Kabako’s song Ndaba Bulabi.
His career took off after he worked on Ice Cream for Sheebah; following this success, he produced Ndabilawa for Kalifah Aganaga, marking yet another breakthrough in his career.
