Day 1 of Nyege Nyege 2024 in Jinja started with vibrant activities and performances. This program allowed attendees to explore Jinja’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
The festival grounds opened in the evening, featuring diverse stages such as the experimental Dark Star Stage and the culturally rich Spirit of Uganda Stage.
Nyege Nyege continues to showcase Uganda’s creative scene today while boosting local tourism and businesses.
