Former model Doreen Kabareebe has shared her regrets about ever stepping into Prophet Samuel Kakande’s Synagogue Church, revealing that her experience there brought misfortune into her life.
In an online video she shared on her Facebook, Kabareebe narrated how her journey to seek greener pastures abroad led her to the church.
She had plans to travel to the United States but didn’t know where to start. After discussing her plans with her mother, she was encouraged to seek Pastor Kakande’s intervention for divine support.
Kabareebe disclosed that her visit to the church in 2020 marked the beginning of a series of unfortunate events.
She claims that all the money she had saved from her hustles in Dubai mysteriously disappeared. Additionally, she was asked to pay Shs500,000 for “special visa prayers” from the pastor, but her plans never materialized.
The former model recalled how her struggles deepened when a photo of her riding on a bodaboda surfaced online, making her a subject of ridicule on social media.
I keep praying for my mother to open her eyes and leave this church, and I know one day she will. I cannot distance myself from her because she brought me into this world, but it’s hard for me because it feels like I’m fighting with the pastor over her.
