Since 1996, Hajjat Aisha Nalule, the current FUFA Competitions director has been serving the game of football in different capacities has finally got life Achievers recognition from Real Stars Sports Agency. 

The awards ceremony held on Wednesday at Lazio Restaurant Lugogo saw four people got recognised for great performance in the month of May.

The headliner of the day was the life Achievers award received by the FUFA Competitions director, Hajjat Aisha Nalule who thanked Fortebet and Real Stars for recognising her work.

“Its much important to be appreciated in life time, my journey in football has been fantastic along the way, many people have helped me, I thank them to see me through very many challenges, football have paid me a lot to put me on both Continent and international scene, it has given me financial and none financial benefits”. Nalule stated 

Serving under three FUFA governments, Nalule highlighted that discipline patience and hardwork has helped her a lot in her working journey.

From the awards, Football had more pick with KCCA FC forward Emmanuel Anyama wining as the best footballer in the month of May.

Anyama scored six times in May to set up pace in beating team mate Brian Ijara a teenager who is going to Kyadondo SS and Yunus Sentamu who is trading his game at Vipers SC.

In other accolades Willy Kyakonye won in boxing while Johnathan Tumukunde won in Volleyball.

Kyakonye is a Uganda boxer based in Netherlands, he won the accolade for his 10th round Knockout win over Venezuelan Wilmer Vasquez in a 12 round World Boxing Federation Heavyweight title bout played in Netherlands.

For the accolade, Kyakonye was nominated against Joshua Mwenda and Harbert Matovu who also did well in their respective weights.

In volleyball, Johnathan Tumukunde who drove Sport-S to a seventh and a third straight league title after defeating Nemostars in playoffs.

Tumukunde beat Aisha Kebirungi who guided Lady Sport-S for the first league and Malil Gum to become the best Volleyball player.
