Uganda Premier League record champions, SC Villa are still on search for ala foreign head coach following the untimely departure of Nemanja Milincic.
According to reliable sources, the club management led by Omar Mandela remains committed to appointing a foreign coach to take over the Joggos next season.
The preference of SC Villa management for foreign coaches over the local based coaches to replace Morley Byekwaso who part ways with the team last week. The appointment is expected to be made as soon as early next month.
SC Villa has been under a number of foreign coaches the likes of the Englishman Geoff Hudson, Spanish Antonio Flores, Greek coach Petros Koukouras, Serbian Milutin Micho Sredojevic (2002-04), Srdan Zivojnov (2010-11) and Dusan Stojanovic who won them the latest UPL championship 2023/2024.
Stojanovic’s departure was felt by the club during the 2024/25 season as they were dethroned by Vipers SC, finishing sixth, 24 points below the Venoms.
