Singer Aaronx has opened up about his journey to stardom in the Ugandan music industry.
He disclosed that he has so far spent four years in the entertainment industry trying to establish himself as a stand-alone brand something that he has achieved.
On his journey, he has done quite several jobs to reach the level where he desired to see himself when he was starting.
Among the jobs he has done include being a taxi conductor. He says he used to be a conductor when the COVID-19 lockdown was lifted.
During that period, he says they made a lot of money since the charge fares were high as they would double transport costs on a journey and the number of passengers for a taxi to carry was always limited to half.
He says he worked along the Matuga road until his sister got him another project to work on as one of the individuals who advocated for safe male circumcision.
In his free time, he would check into the studio and record music. He adds that his famous hit “Njalwala” was recorded in 2022 but released in the evening of 2023.
The song gained popularity in 2024 and since then he has become an artist to reckon with in the showbiz since Sheebah requested they do a remix of it.
He says hard work branding, self-belief, and persistence have seen him reach the level that he is at this moment.
