Singer Allan Toniks has revealed why he stopped sharing his thoughts and life challenges on social media.
He noted that of late, social media has a lot of negative energy and bad-minded people who always look forward to hurting others even during trying moments.
The “Beera Nange” singer said that these days social media users have become more bitter than in the past and used the opportunity to request them to be calm and kind to others.
In my life, I have encountered several challenges just like any other person but I have never shared them on social media simply because there are sayings that once you share your problems some will laugh at you, others will feel sorry, and some won’t mind.
These days there is a lot of bad mind on social media. Whatever someone posts, others will look for a way to chide you. It is a pity that social media manners have continued to worsen.
Toniks spoke out against the harshness on social media following a section of critics who claimed that ailing comedian Bobi Brown is just making fun yet he seriously needs financial support to undergo kidney and bladder surgery.
Bobi Brown was recently advised by his medical doctor to undergo surgery before the end of October or early November and needed funding of Shs5m.
