Dancehall star Beenie Gunter says after years in the music industry, he has moved beyond idolizing or admiring other musicians.

For him, celebrities are no longer the “special” figures they once seemed to be; instead, he views them as ordinary people.

Beenie Gunter has been in the music industry for over six years and has made some career steps. While he hasn’t been actively releasing new music lately, his songs continue to enjoy popularity.

I’ve built my brand,” he said, revealing that it’s no longer necessary to constantly release new music since he can sustain his career through other ventures.

When discussing collaborations, Gunter revealed that he has worked with numerous artists in Uganda but does not view collaboration as a crucial factor for success.

I don’t think there is any other celebrity that has helped me out, which is why I don’t find it sensible to idolize anyone.
