The betPawa Futsal Super League defending champions, Park FC needed Micheal Abura late strike to secure a hard fought win of match day three on Saturday at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Park FC edged Kabuusu Clouds 3-2 in a dramatic encounter. With the scores tied at 2-2 and just 40 seconds left on the clock, Michael Abura capitalized on a defensive error to seal the win. Earlier, Abasi Junior Muluya and Joshua Aziku had found the back of the net for Park, while Gaddafi Bazanyanengo and Tonny Ssemwogerere scored for Kabuusu Clouds.

Kabowa Dream Team also maintained their unbeaten run, narrowly defeating Nansana ASKA 2-1 in the day’s lowest scoring encounter. The game was decided in the dying moments, as an own goal by Victor Kazibwe handed Kabowa their third consecutive victory.

Both teams now sit atop the table with perfect records, each boasting three wins from three matches. 

Mbarara QC futsal Club, the side that joined the league with a lot of vibe and expectations is yet to find anything close to a league win, they have registered another draw, sharing spoils with Kisugu in a six goal thriller.

Busujju Sparks 3-1 Edgars Youth Programme: Charles Mugalu shone with a brace, while Collins Talemwa added another to secure Busujju’s second win of the season.

Grameen 4-4 Crown Lubiri: Crown Lubiri dropped their first points of the season in a pulsating draw against Grameen.

Kisenyi 1-3 Mengo: Farouk Tumwesigye stole the show in the Mengo derby, scoring a hat-trick to guide Mengo City to an emphatic victory.
