Soft-spoken singer Chris Evans Kaweesi believes there are less hit songs being produced by artists today compared to back in the day.

He explains that the issue of artists chilling together all the time and agreeing on the same thing is slowing down the music industry.

He noted that during the times when artists used to beef, the competition was solid and everyone worked hard to outshine their peers and things were moving unlike these days.

Chris Evans blamed the cause on the formation of the Uganda National Musicians Federation and other associations that brought unity among artists.

When asked whether he has any artist he competes with, he claimed that his musical foes are too weak and lack the stamina to go head-to-head with him anymore.

He also dismissed claims of having a standing beef with singer Princess Amiirah noting how he has never considered her as his challenger.

He cleared the air on Princess Amiirah’s claims that he pursued her romantically, explaining that she made those statements in an effort to promote her new song to attract attention.

Chris Evans added that Amiira is not the type of women he dates as he continued to trash the allegations.
