Eddy Kenzo says he will never be on good terms with Bobi Wine because they do not need each other and he asks his supporters to stop intimidating him.
Kenzo’s first breakthrough song ‘Yanimba’ was a collaboration with Bobi Wine’s younger brother Mikie Wine. At the time, he was affiliated with Bobi’s Firebase Crew camp.
Over the years, however, the two have fallen out of each other’s favor and are sworn enemies who share divergent ideologies musically and politically.
Eddy Kenzo claims that many of Bobi Wine’s supporters intimidate him on social media, commanding him to get back on good terms with the NUP president and support his political cause.
In an interview, the Big Talent singer put his foot on the ground and maintained that their request would never be obliged because Bobi does not need him.
I can never work with Bobi Wine again because he doesn’t need me. And it’s many of us in this, if he needed us we would be working with him. I tell you, my friends, if you want to dislike me because I do not operate with Bobi Wine, please go ahead because it will never happen. That is clear. I have no big issues with him, he can go ahead with his work but never intimidate me. I will not incite violence, do not expect me to ask people to demonstrate. I will not do that.
