Recho Rey, Lydia Jazmine, Dax Vibez, and Kapeke among other artists have released new visuals for their music projects this week and we look at them in this piece.
- Fake Lover (Ex) – Lydia Jazmine
A song for your ex? Most definitely. Lydia Jazmine lashes out at her ex-lover in this new song produced by Bass Boi. The LJ Music singer dedicates the song to “all exes, fake lovers, and fake friends.” Her perfect blend of melody and lyrics, coupled with the attitude she sings with make the song quite personal.
- Tabbu – Dax Vibez feat. Ava Peace
Arguably one of the biggest songs in Uganda currently, Dax Vibez and Ava Peace’s ‘Tabbu’ now has an official music video. As it continues to rank top on most music playlists, Tabbu is quite a watch on YouTube, and it is no surprise that it is already making 200k views a few days since it was uploaded.
- Oyaya – Fik Fameica feat. Marioo
Fik Fameica went East to Tanzania on his freshest music project and collaborated with Marioo. It is the ultimate blend of Rap and Amapiano vibes! This East African anthem is packed with energy, style, and unstoppable grooves that will move you from start to finish.
- Polokoto – Kapeke
The early criticism Kapeke has in his music career is the loosely identical beats he uses for most of his songs. That, however, cannot stand in the way of the fact that his music will move you. His latest song Polokoto can force you onto the dancefloor. There is just something about his flow and lyrics as well. Kapeke Must Shine – indeed!
- Ponytail – Recho Rey
Recho Rey has always mixed hilarious lyrics with a good flow, using her rap skills to stand above the other female rappers in Uganda. She sticks to the script in “Ponytail”. The Team No Sleep singer worked with David & Drum who gave the song danceable beats, The eye-catching visuals were directed by Jah Live. Take a gaze:
