The FUFA North East Regional League anticipated play-off match between Junior Eagles and Tapo FC which was scheduled to be played on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Soroti SS has been abandoned due to Irregularities in visiting team’s licenses.
Junior Eagles accused Tapo FC for forging or faking licenses, which caused the game not to be physically played after mandatory inspection of teams.
Junior Eagles officials claimed that players; Ocen Micah and Oloya Patrick were not licensed to play for Tapo.
According to FUFA connect system, Ocen Micha reportedly that he is attached to Thunder FC not Tapo fc with different age specification . After few hours it was reported that the North East Region League playoff final between Junior Eagles and Tapoh FC will finally be played on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Booma grounds, Kumi.
Now according to Junior Eagles letter dated Tuesday 10 June 2025 written by the CEO of the club he summarised everything as;
・ During the inspection on 8 June 2025, Tapo fc presented licenses which were questionable because one of the two(2) Booklets of Licenses presented they were different from the Normal licenses printed and sent by Fufa to clubs.
・Junior Eagles officials asked Tapo fc to use only the correct form of licenses submitted by FUFA until the other questionable licenses are verified and cleared by the match official. Tapo fc officials reported refused to play the game until the other booklet licenses is used too and the game didn’t physically played.
・ Meanwhile in the normal licenses sent by FUFA, two players on the lineup don’t appear anywhere and the players are Ocen Micah and Oloya Patrick. And after clearing check on fufa connect system, Ocen Micha reportedly that he is attached to thunder fc not Tapo fc with different age specification.
