Local events organizer Hassan Mubiru has narrated how singer Alien Skin, together with his gang, roughed up his son Salim Mubiru and robbed him of his money and iPhone 15 Pro in September.
Alien Skin is currently in prison following his arrest on Wednesday on charges of robbery. It is alleged that he assaulted Salim Mubiru and stole a phone, cash, and wallet containing his national ID on 28th September 2024.
While speaking to Sanyuka TV, Salim Mibiru’s father, Hassan Mubiru narrated the ordeal of how Alien Skin beat his son and his gang and later claimed it was a mistaken identity.
In September, my son from the USA visited me alongside other visitors. We sent Salim for food at Hajji Haruna’s restaurant. On his way, while on a boda boda to Hajji Haruna’s restaurant, he was followed by Alien Skin in his car. As he ordered for the food, Alien Skin told his team that he wanted to talk to Salim. When he (Salim) declined, his goons roughed him up and dragged him towards Alien Skin who immediately started punching him whilst wearing heavy rings on his fingers.
He was beaten so badly that he lost two teeth and they just left him there. The boda boda rider is the one who helped him and transported him to hospital. We rushed to the hospital and later went to the police to report the case.
Alien Skin came to the police station and recorded a statement. He was given a police bond and he later asked that we solve the matter after admitting to thumping the boy. He (Alien) claimed that he mistook Salim for someone else that he wanted to beat. We asked that he pays the boy’s lost property, and hospital bills, and he said he would keep in touch.
On the agreed date to return to the police, he didn’t show up and they have since issued a warrant of arrest until two months later when he was arrested and taken to the court. He (Salim) had Shs500,000 and had used Shs20,000 to buy some items, remaining with Shs480,000. He also had a phone worth Shs3.5M that was stolen from him.
Hassan Mubiru asks that the law should take its course so that his son gets the justice he deserves because he was severely assaulted and robbed of his property.
