Ugandan TikToker and Content Creator CB Talker, real name Joshua Onjeyo, talks to Mbu about his trip to Nigeria, meeting Sydney Talker, and new projects he is working on.
Why did you travel to Nigeria?
I started my content because of them (Nigerian content creators) especially the guy called Sydney Talker. My dream was to come to Nigeria to collaborate with them and to tour the country.
Who have you met there so far?
I have met different comedians and artists like Emmanuela, Aunty Success, Sirbalo, and Iamnasboy. I have also met Sydney Talker, my mentor and idol. He is the guy who inspired me to start content. I was happy that he knew me already but he had no idea which country I came from.
Of what benefit is your trip to Nigeria?
I have met top content creators with bigger audiences which contributes to my growth. I have also made the collaborations that every content creator would like to get whether you’re a comedian or an artist.
Who is the funniest among the other content creators you have met there?
All the guys I have met here are funny but my mentor Syndey Talker is the funniest of them all.
Are you working on any projects with any of them? If so, specify:
Yes, we are doing some projects and we have done some video comedy collaborations. I think I will return and feature in a movie they are working on. Sydney Talker will create another program and I will come back to Nigeria soon to meet more Content Creators that I didn’t interact much with this time around.
