Gifted singer Jackie Chandiru recently revealed that while she was still at school she contemplated lightening her skin but by then she didn’t think it was possible.
She opened up about contemplating lightening her skin after she was posed with a question that desired her to disclose whether she ever felt uncomfortable with her skin texture and responded with a yes.
The “Agaasi” singer noted that she reached a time when she would question why God created her so dark and sometimes she blamed Him for her appearance.
However, she didn’t allow such thoughts to sink deep into her mind since they would distract her from her studies though she admitted that it psychologically disturbed her.
I had the thought of lightening my skin during school but I didn’t think it was possible. I just always kept questioning God why He made me so dark. Like I blamed Him for some time. When asked whether she intends to walk down the aisle again, Chandiru ruled out any possibility until the person she took vows with passes on.
