John Blaq has shared his journey through depression, revealing how he struggled after parting ways with his former management and faced a challenging setback.
Despite the tough times, he says he doesn’t blame anyone for not being there, choosing instead to focus on gratitude for his current state of peace.
After his well-attended 2019 concert, John Blaq was optimistic about the financial rewards that awaited him in the following years.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought an unexpected halt to his plans, putting Uganda under lockdown for nearly two years.
The artist, who had invested heavily in the concert, was left disappointed as his anticipated returns diminished, leaving him financially strained and emotionally overwhelmed.
I am better now, and I thank God. I am very, very fine – I am not stressed; I am a happy man with the little God gives me.
Through his healing journey, John Blaq sees himself as a “living testimony” of the transformative power of faith.
If it wasn’t for God, I probably would’ve lost myself now.
