Jamaican superstar Konshens reveals that he always feels “natural energy” in Africa and applauds East Africa, particularly for showing him so much love.
Konshens, real name Garfield Delano Spence, has performed across the African continent several times but not more than he has held shows in East Africa.
Uganda and Kenya have hosted him more than twice and he believes he always receives so much love from the East Africans.
While speaking on a live interview with NTV Uganda, the dancehall artist noted he feels indebted to always show love back, every chance he gets.
It’s always love. Being Jamaican, Africa has always been a dream. To go there for the first time and receive so much love from the people, it’s something that left something heavy in my heart. I love it. The natural energy, that’s the main thing that Africa is for us.
East Africa has shown me so much love more than any other part of Africa and I just have that same love to show back.
