Lilian Mbabazi, a member of the iconic girl group Blu*3, has addressed the long-standing speculation about a rivalry between Sheebah and Cindy. According to Mbabazi, the supposed enmity between the two is largely a creation of the fans and the public.
“Sheebah and Cindy are not enemies; it’s just that the fans want to make it seem that way,” said Lilian, who is a close friend of both Sheebah and Cindy.
While the two have had public disagreements over the years, Lilian insists that their relationship is not as hostile as it’s often portrayed.
Sheebah and Cindy have made headlines for years with their competitive remarks, especially in interviews, where they often criticize each other’s work.
However, Lilian, who shares a history with both women, sees things differently. As a bandmate to Cindy in Blu*3 and a good friend to Sheebah, she has maintained strong connections with both artists.
How I am friends with Cindy is totally different from how I am friends with Sheebah, but I don’t feel any stress. I’ve heard about their beef, but I don’t care. Like, I am who I am, and my heart is my heart.
Lilian further noted that the ongoing “beef” between the two, which was hyped by their recent musical competition, has only fueled the belief that they are enemies.
I don’t even think they are enemies. I just think it’s the general public that has created that kind of energy between them because of the battle and everything.
