The Blu*3; consisting of Lilian Mbabazi, Cindy Sanyu, and Jackie Chandiru was disbanded around 2008 after several years of dominating Uganda’s music space.
Lilian Mbabazi, a member of the now reunited Blu*3 trio, says that the trio was broken when big egos clashed because they would no longer act on anything as a group.
“I won’t speak for other groups but as Blu*3 it was just miscommunication and egos. When big egos clash, everyone wants to be better than the other and yet you have to be a group,” Mbabazi told NBS TV.
Lilian Mbabazi is now in preparations for the Blu*3 reunion concert slated for 22nd June at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel now advises the new groups in the music business to have someone who can look out for them and keep them out of trouble.

I can’t compare the groups existing now to us because they are still young. They have not had any experience yet. I would advise them to be consistent. Let them have somebody who looks out for them as well.
