It’s in Buganda Kingdom master plan to elevate Masaza playing grounds to Stadium status in all the 18 counties.
To respond to the call, today in Sala village, Wakiso District, Super Shelter Property Agency- Nansana have donated over 50 iron sheets to Busiro Football Team to develop Ssentama stadium the home of Busiro Sazza.
Buganda Kingdom through the ministry of sports,youth and arts emphasizes all county leaders to start developing and ring facing all Sazza grounds across Buganda in order to avoid Land grabbing near stadiums.
“The likes of Busiro and other counties must be compliant to what Buganda wants that is to ring fence the land and also to develop new stadiums and I thank Super Shelter for the support.” said Ssebwana of Busiro.
“I call upon all business men in Busiro to come and we build Busiro together for the next generation, remember for us we shall go but Busiro will remain”.he added.
The managing director of Super Shelter Property Agency- Nansana, John Bosco Kabogoza said that, “For all the years, we have been supporting Busiro football team in various ways but this time round, we have decided to do this.”
“This donation is not enough, Busiro has a number of billionaire, we should come together to re- build new Busiro to prevent land grabbing in Ssentama as far as sports is concerned in Buganda” He added.
The one time champions, Busiro believes that this edition are more set and ready to compete.
Busiro needs funds in region of 400 million to ring fence the land.
Busiro kicks off this year’s campaign on road visiting, Busujju on Sunday at Kakindu Playground.
