Deeply rooted in the entertainment industry in Uganda is the talented MC Mosh Mulla, real name Moses Tusubira – a name synonymous with excitement, energy, and entertainment in Uganda as a TV host, club MC, and Activist.
Mosh Mulla has made a significant impact on the entertainment scene, and his journey is an inspiration to many. We take a look at his journey in this piece:
Mosh Mulla was born and raised in a Christian family to which he attributes his values and beliefs. He believes that has played a significant role in shaping his career and personal life. He is the son of the late Mzee Nathan Tusubira Kawaida, and his upbringing has instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and hard work.
His passion for entertainment began at a young age. He attended Makenke Army Primary School, where he first discovered his love for music and performance. He later went to Nganawa High School where he became famous for his music shows and events.
Mosh Mulla’s career in entertainment spans several years during which he has worked with prominent TVs such as Record TV and STV.
Although STV is no longer in operation, Mosh Mulla’s time on the station was marked by significant success, particularly with his popular show “Face Off,” which showcased Ugandan music and talent.
One of Mosh Mulla’s most notable achievements is his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He has interviewed some of the biggest stars in the industry, including Phyno, Terri, and Skales from Nigeria, as well as Ugandan legends like Bebe Cool and Eddy Kenzo.
But that’s not all – Mosh Mulla is also a skilled musician, having collaborated with both local and international artists. Some of his notable songs include “No Lie” featuring Heyz Bullet and “Gimme Love” featuring Adam Bery from Tanzania.
He is set to release his latest project, the “Mulla Riddim,” at his upcoming event, The Mosh Mulla Experience, on November 1st at the Vault Club.
As a club MC, Mosh Mulla is known for his high-energy performances. Every Friday, he brings the house down at Vault, one of Kampala’s hottest clubs. His ability to get the crowd moving has made him a favorite among clubgoers.
His activism extends beyond the entertainment industry.
He is the brainchild behind the “Feed the Ghetto” campaign which aims to provide food and support to underprivileged communities. His dedication to giving back to society is a testament to his kind heart and commitment to making a positive impact.
