On 27th April 2025 at Cupper Chimney Lugogo, Uganda Aquatics held an elective Annual General Assembly and re-elected Moses Mwase as the president for the next four years.
Mwase was re-elected alongside Peter Mugisha (1st Vice President) and Tonnie Kasujja (2nd Vice President). Max Kanyerezi, Mary Ann, Nakakawa Florence, Mubarak Semanda, and Asuman Nyonyintono also retained or were elected to their respective roles, including Secretary General, Assistant General Secretary, Treasurer, Western Region Representative, and Northern Regional Representative, respectively.
Arnold Kisulo – Athletes Representative, Erick Kisero – Representative Kampala and Vivian Namale – Representative Eastern.

This Executive Committee alongside World Aquatics Bureau Member, Dr. Donald Rukare officially admitted in the office for the next four years on Saturday 24, May, 2024 at Uganda Olympic Committee Offices – Lugogo with the help of Commissioner of Oaths, Angela Kobel.
Before taking oath, the committee first had a one day orientation workshop at UOC and discussed on a number of key points and ideas that will drive the Federation for the next four years.

The re-elected president Moses Mwase revealed some of the key areas in the five-year strategic plan.
“We’re going to work on revamping our strategy, a five-year strategy for 2025-30 but that strategy really is for us to put in place structure a d to ensure that aquatics in Uganda grows not only quantitatively but also qualitatively.”
“We want to put a lot of emphasis on land swim or discover water which is a new program by World Aquatics and this helps to venture into those programs that help to handle ground prevent and learn to swim clinics.”
“We want to develop our other disciplines in Aquatics like water polo, Open water and perhaps others and we want all these regional competitions to happen all around the country.
Mwase also asserted that they are working to their best to see that they beat the deadline of 20th June, the National of Sports put in place for all Federation to fullfil the requirements of the new act.
