Renowned audio music producer Nash Wonder has criticized Ugandan artists for being greedy and ungrateful based on the experience he has had with several of them.
He explains that if Ugandan artists were cooperative and open-minded they would be at the top level but the challenge many are facing is that they don’t recognize the people that they started their music careers with.
He highlighted how the people Nigerian singer Davido began his career with are the same individuals he is still riding with unlike Ugandan musicians who dump the people that help them rise to fame.
Nash Wonder stresses that once the local artists stop being greedy they will reach great heights that will make many people admire them.
The bone I have to pick with Ugandan artists is that they don’t mind where they come from. That is the main issue that I have with them. I can give you the example of Davido. A few days ago he has been trending after his marital ceremonies and he said that the people he started with, are the same individuals he still rides with because they understand him. Even when he reaches great heights are the first people who are going to congratulate him.
But Ugandan artists are just funny. I think they are just greedy and unpredictable. Since I am a stakeholder in the industry, what I am left to do is just to help a few artists here and there. I will pass away with my connections because I got fed up.
Nash Wonder is highly recognized for bringing artists such as Kalifah AgaNaga, Coco Finger, and Sheebah Karungi among others to fame when he produced smashing hit songs for them from 2012 to 2016.
