PostBank Uganda stepped up to the plate and made a big splash at the 2025 All-Star Women’s Basketball Tournament, defeating Parliament of Uganda 60-52 in an exhibition game at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium on Sunday.
Led by Steven Mwesige, a former Falcons and UCU Canons forward, PostBank brought their A-game and entertained the crowd with their skills.
The game was part of the 2025 All-Star Women’s Basketball Tournament, which also featured a thrilling matchup between Team Kamwada and Team Ageno, with Team Ageno emerging victorious 52-48. It was a nail-biting finish, with Team Ageno snatching victory from the jaws of defeat in the final minutes.
PostBank’s win was the icing on the cake for the event, which was sponsored by the bank. The bank’s MD, Julius Kakeeto, and Head of Marketing and Communications, Priscilla Akora, were in attendance and participated in the awards ceremony.
