Ray G has faced allegations of using footage from Dan Mace’s Tusker ‘US’ commercial in his latest music video for “Nyamunyonyi,” a collaboration with T Paul.
The accusations were brought to light by Nimusiima, an influencer, who claimed that Ray G had repurposed scenes from the Tusker beer advertisement without permission.
The Tusker commercial, created by Dan Mace and released seven years ago, has distinctive choreography of a rural African setting.
According to Nimusiima, these unique elements can be seen in Ray G’s “Nyamunyonyi” video, suggesting a clear link between the two.
