A few weeks ago, a video showing Rema Namakula in Muslim wear with a bulged tummy made rounds on social media sparking off speculations that she could be pregnant.
While speaking in an interview, Rema wondered why people would be surprised that she is pregnant yet she is an active married woman.
The singer emphasized that she is settled in life and only left with a few tasks including giving birth and taking care of her family and husband.
Insha Allah. I told you that giving birth is the only task I am left with plus loving my family and husband. I am a married woman and very active so you cannot be surprised that I am pregnant.

When asked about the rumors circulating concerning a possible wedding celebration with Dr. Hamza Sebunya, Rema noted that they held the wedding when they did a Nikkah (Muslim marriage).
Rema stated that what is left may be the normal celebration where they will invite people. Hamza then interjected and revealed that the celebration was near.
Rema and Hamza held their Nikkah in 2019.
