Former Gagamel crew singer Denzo Ssekamatte, known by the stage name Denzo, has expressed disappointment in delaying receiving the ghetto initiative funds that President Museveni gave out recently.
The self-styled Chief Ghetto Commander notes that when he saw the president on TV saying he gave out the cash to be distributed among the ghetto youth camps, he chose to survey why he had not yet received the money.
He was dismayed when he was told that he was not one of the beneficiaries of the money by a ghetto commander identified as Jackie.
Denzo claims he has been working with ghetto youths on different projects and is waiting for the funds to continue with more projects to improve their lives.
He has since been directed to Gen. Kuteesa or Maj. Ddamuliira to get to know more about the funds he promised the youth to keep their hopes alive of becoming better.
Speaking about the piggery project he had started, Denzo noted that all the pigs passed on due to inadequate funds to feed and treat them explaining that he had even expanded but all that went in vain.
He looks forward to reimbursing some of the ghetto youths when the funds come through and also exploring more avenues for expanding the projects.
