This website brings you the football journey of Wakiso Hills WFC midfielder and captain, Patricia Nayiga.

The 16 year old Phiona Nabbumba secret admirer got no support from the mother though her father knew where the daughter got the love for football from.

“My parents especially my mum never wanted me to play football” Patricia Nayiga, the Wakiso Hills WFC midfield gem recalls.

“She would punish me whenever she was told by the teachers that I play football with the boys at school.”

“Also my elder sister would always support my mum that I shouldn’t play football. Then I could run to Dad whenever I was punished because he once played football so he would feel the pain I had whenever they beat me because of football.”

Nayiga would go for other games while still in primary but she loved football the more to the extent that she used to hide whenever games time arrived at school.

“When I was at School in my primary times , we used to engage in different games but I used to hide whenever it was time for playing the games .
