Rising singer Tom Dee, real name Tom Derrick Bakulumpangi, has slammed Uganda awards organizers after he was snubbed in a recent awards event.
Tom Dee criticized the local awards for failing to earn any nominations in any category at the weekend’s awards.
He believed that the success of his song “Omuzabbibu” deserved to earn a nod in any category based on its popularity and the massive airplay that it gained.
How can you even fail to nominate Omuzabbibu anywhere this year and call yourself bu things mbu Music awards.
The fact that he was snubbed from the Hipipo Awards event left him with a sour taste in his mouth, and he could only curse the organizers.
Tom Dee is apparently in preparations and running drives for his looming “Omuzabibu” concert that will be held on the 30th of November at Forest Resort, Lweza.
