Ugandan content creator Source Garland, also known as Soosi, is beaming with excitement after the famous Nigerian skit creator Sabinus acknowledged his request to collaborate on a project.

Uganda and Nigeria have witnessed several collaborations between them, especially in the entertainment industry. The music industry particularly has united the two countries and now content creators are taking a similar direction.

Nigeria’s funniest skit maker Sabinus is said to have shot a collaborative project with Source Garland who regards him as his biggest inspiration. “Sabinus inspired me to have a single attire and skits that end in the same particular always,” Source Garland noted recently.

What started from a tweet about Source Garland’s admiration of Nigeria’s hottest item in content, seems to have come to pass. The Multichoice Uganda influencer who dies every Monday in his skits is currently making rounds for his bread-eating skits in the Uganda vs South Sudan game.

Soosi’s content consists of humorous skits that reflect societal issues, politics, or everyday life in a light-hearted, critical way that invites reflection and laughter.

Soosi boasts the fastest-growing social media pages among local creators doing similar content with his Instagram at 26.2k followers, TikTok at 133.4k followers, Twitter at 57.5k followers, and YouTube at 14.5k subscribers.

He is never shy of acknowledging the other creators who inspire him including Palestinian-American internet personality Anwar Jiwabi, and Keele and Peele.

I’m a big fan of Anwar Jibawi a Palestinian-American and I look up to him. I also look at Keele and Peele, they really inspire me a lot with the twists they add in their content, the quality of the work and time invested. I know it’s a matter of time and consistence and I’ll be there sometime.

Source Garland yearns to inspire the next generation of content creators in Uganda by sharing his journey, challenges, and successes. “I want to encourage more young people to pursue creative careers, thereby fostering a vibrant content creation ecosystem in Uganda that doesn’t just focus on immediate hits but timeless content.”

As we wait for his project with Sabinus, Soosi also desires to work on some projects with the likes of Crazy Kennar, Degeneral, Nasty Blaq, Sydney Talker, Anwar Jibawi, Keele and Peele, among others.
