Agnes Nabukenya registered a Hat-trick in the encounter Kawempe Muslim thrashed Jinja Comprehensive School 4-0 at Boma Grounds on Friday.

The USSSA Ball Games I girls football group stage climaxed today at different playing venues.

Agnes Nabukenya registered a Hat-trick in the encounter Kawempe Muslim thrashed Jinja Comprehensive School 4-0 at Boma Grounds on Friday. 

The defending champions, Kawempe Muslim propelled to round of 32 without conceding any goal. 

Agnes Nabukenya the current tournament top scorer with nine goals has netted three on the day with Adong Meble going on the score sheet with a beautiful finish.

The first stanza ended goalless but Kawempe returned for second stanza with a champions’ mentality and ten minutes into the game Agnes Nabukenya found the back of the with a loop over the goalkeeper, two minutes later she added the second with a penalty kick following a handball in the forbidden area, it was a good cross from Belinda Hope Nabawanuka. 

Agnes sealed her Hat-trick in the last 15 minutes of the game, thanks to Meble Adong well calculated long ball from the middle of the park. 

Adong who also had a good day went on the score sheet with a goal poacher’s finish six minutes to the final whistle. 

Kawempe Muslim topped group A with six points and 14 goals, yet to concede in this competition.

On the round of 32, Kawempe Muslim will play against Bishop Comboni College School Kabunga on Saturday morning at Amus College School pitch one. 

For starters, Agnes Nabukenya tops the scorers’ chart with nine goals followed Amus College ‘s Akol Faith with six goals, ties with her teammate, Praxicidesi Shivan.

Those with four goals are; Standard High School’s Asiazu Lillian, Ariho Rinah of Boni Consilii Girls Vocational School,Wanda Edina of Amus College School, Nenghamba Buba also from Boni Consilii and Adongo Recheal of Acaba SS a
