Winnie Nwagi states that she did not attend Sheebah Karungi’s concert because she was not in touch with the songstress and wasn’t sure she was welcome there.
Winnie Nwagi, among other Swangz Avenue singers, was a no-show at Sheebah Karungi’s sold-out Neyanziza concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on 4th October 2024.
She has since been attacked by some of Sheebah’s fans on social media who question her loyalty toward their favorite artist.
While speaking to Spark TV, Nwagi noted that she did not dare to attend the concert because she was not in communication with Sheebah.
She mentioned that she also wasn’t sure she was welcome to the event as no communication about her performing was made prior.
There has to be an understanding between the two artists. Sometimes we are not in communication, not in touch. So I wouldn’t know if she wanted me to perform at her concert. Sometimes you might attend when you’re not even welcome.
