Singer Winnie ‘Nwagi’ Nakanwagi has expressed her concern about the potential of her daughter becoming an alcoholic.

She fears the negative effects of alcoholism and would have liked to be there to limit her daughter’s consumption.

Nwagi also expressed her desire to guide her daughter through other aspects of her life, as any other mother would.

During the interview with Spark TV, the Swangz Avenue star said that alcohol tortures people and she wouldn’t want to see her daughter like that.

She, however, would like her to make her own decisions as an adult but responsibly.

I wouldn’t my daughter to be an alcoholic because I see how it tortures people. I wouldn’t want that for my child. I don’t know what she will decide for herself because she will be an adult but I would have loved to be there to limit her consumption. There are many things I would still like to guide her through, like any other mother.
