Ugandan chef Mama D has already surpassed 56 hours in her reattempt for the Guinness World Record for the Longest Cookathon. And she is only getting stronger!
At exactly 00:00 hours on 1st June 2024, Dorcas Bashebah Kirabo a.k.a Mama D began cooking commencing her reattempt for the world record of the Longest Cooking Marathon by an Individual.
Following a failed first attempt for the world record, Mama D wants to achieve big this time around and she is taking every precautionary measure not to repeat her past mistakes.
Her support system has backed her all the way and they are at the High Note Bar along Kamuli Road, Kireka supporting and cheering her on every second of the cookathon.
For her, it’s not just about creating delicious meals; it’s a journey that has led her to pursue her achievements. Despite trying out other professions, including banking, Mama D always found herself drawn back to the kitchen.
