“Our LRB model ensures players and staff are rewarded for excellence. This isn’t just about sponsorship, it’s a catalyst for professionalism.” she added.

Coach. The teams also secured something this season; UGX 2.5M for Super League Winners, UGX 2M for
Uganda Cup and UGX 1M for Super Cup.

Meanwhile, Park FC held off a spirited late comeback to defeat Mengo City 7-6 and reclaim the Futsal Super Cup in a thrilling contest.

Despite Mengo City entering the clash as the betPawa Futsal Super League champions and reigning Futsal Uganda Cup holders, it was Park FC who made the brighter start. Joshua Aziku opened the scoring in the 4th minute and doubled the lead a minute later after a goalkeeping blunder by Paulo Baguma.

Park extended their lead to 3-0 in the 6th minute, courtesy of a tap-in from captain Shafiq Mulangira following another dangerous delivery from Aziku. Michael Abura made it 4-0, reacting quickly after Baguma spilled Abasi Muluya’s powerful free-kick.

Mengo pulled one back through Abdulkarim Tebera in the 15th minute, but Aziku completed a stunning first-half hat-trick to send Park into the break with a commanding 5-1 lead.

The second half saw Mengo City fight back valiantly. Tebera converted from the spot, and substitute John Musasizi made it 5-3 in the 33rd minute.

However, Park responded swiftly through Muluya, who struck twice in quick succession to extend the lead to 7-3 with just five minutes left.

Captain Male Anthony reignited Mengo’s hopes with a fine goal before goalkeeper Stuart Kafuluma produced a remarkable cameo — scoring from open play and then converting a penalty to reduce the deficit to just one.

Despite the dramatic late push, Park FC held firm to secure a 7-6 victory and reclaim the Super Cup from the double-winning Mengo City.
