Buganda Regional League side, Bugerere United FC handed players and club officials a Christmas package as a way of thanking them for their tireless efforts invested into the club since last year when the club was acquired.
The event was held on Saturday 21st, December, 2024, at the club offices located in Kayunga Town Council at Colombo House, just days before Christmas.
The package was handed over to players and members of the coaching staff by club president Nkuubi Brian.
“This happens not to be that big package, but take it as an appreciation from the club top management to you for all the tremendous work you guys have done to see that you keep our team in the top performing clubs in the region”. Stated Nkuubi Brian, club president
Club captain Ibrahim Matovu was thankful to the top club leaders for thinking it wise and having them take something home and the package.
“We all have family members at home, and so when we take something like this home, it makes our family members know that we don’t just waste time, but we have people who cares about us not just using us as footballers but also creating a football family”. In their second season in the competitive Buganda Regional League, Bugerere United FC are currently in the 4th position in the Ssezibwa Group, while last season, they finished in the top four teams that competed in Katonga group.
