Singer Chris Evans Kaweesi has shared why it is important for an artist to consider taking musical breaks at different stages of their career.
He narrates that it is not ideal for someone to release numerous songs and promote them annually because it is costly and could leave an artist choking on heavy debts.
He advises artists to at least release about three songs a year and promote them effectively rather than releasing about seven songs which could eventually land them in losses.
Chris Evans adds that even when an artist releases several songs a year, they can never satisfy their fans because the fans will always keep on asking for new music.
The “Rihanna” singer explains that investing only in music is not good and thus advises fellow artists to invest some of their money in other productive ventures.
It is not good for an artist to invest all their earnings in music production and that is why some die without leaving anything behind and music is very expensive.
