One of Uganda’s best comedy groups Fun Factory Uganda held a successful ‘5 Star Madness’ comedy show at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Tuesday 8th October 2024.
Being the Uganda Independence Day eve, revellers are always looking for where to spend their money from and what better way to do it than on comedy!
As early as 6pm, the gates of Serena Hotel were open for comedy lovers to flock in and people from all walks of life made their way to the venue.
Parting with Shs100k (Silver), Shs200k (Gold), and Shs3M (VVIP), the venue was relatively filled up with comedy lovers who enjoyed performances from the very best Ugandan comedians.
There were also musical performances from Kanneth Mugabi who wowed the crowd with his vocals. Happy Kyazze also performed.
Speaking to Mbu, Fun Factory’s Hannington Bugingo expressed his gratitude to the fans who made it to the show.
I am proud of Uganda’s comedy industry. People came out in big numbers and we had fun through the night. It was lovely.
