According to sources close to Zex Bilangilangi, the singer has not been involved in any car crash, contrary to what is being reported by different netizens.
At a few minutes past 10 pm on Sunday, news made rounds indicating how a person identified as Bilangilangi had been involved in a car accident.
The reports further noted how the accident had claimed lives and more people had been left injured including the said Bilangilangi.
Immediately, netizens believed it was the renowned Dancehall singer Zex Bilangilangi who had been involved in the car crash and they began to wish him a quick recovery.
Upon reaching sources close to Zex Bilangilangi, however, Mbu established that the Ratata singer was fine and had not been involved in the said accident.
It was discovered that it was a football fan named Nicolas Bilangilangi who was instead involved in an accident while returning to Kampala from a match between Kyaggwe and Gomba.
“Kyaggwe ssaza fans have got an accident on their way back from Kabulasoke PTC when they have won ssaza Gomba by 2-0. Death report is not clear however some sources report, the accident has claimed 13. Others are still not in good condition including Nicolas Bilangilangi,” Sandra Nassali, a sports blogger revealed via TX (formerly Twitter).
Efforts to reach Zex Bilangilangi himself were futile at the publication of this article and he is yet to make an official statement on the matter.
