Singer and performing artist Lilian Mbabazi has revealed that the Blu*3 singing group is in studio working on dropping an Extended Play (EP) album shortly.
Speaking in an interview, Mbabazi disclosed that there is a project dubbed “Guma” which the group is finalizing and it will be dropping soon.
She explained that the EP is currently on pause because Cindy Sanyu is in Germany on some duties whereas Jackie Chandiru is also currently busy with other work.
Mbabazi alerted all those who love Blu*3 to eagerly await for the EP.
She believes the projects on the album are lit since they and just awaiting zeroing down on the timeless songs that should feature on the album.
We have some concepts coming out very soon this festive season. We have songs coming up also like ‘Guma’ which we are in the works for it.
Once we settle down, we will work on finishing the EP because we have some songs in the studio. It’s gonna be nice.
We are still compiling the songs and we haven’t zeroed down on which will be on the EP at the moment.
Sharing about the trio’s creative process, Mbabazi stressed that they often first identify the producer they want to work with and consider what sound they want the producer to give them.
On the creativity of the songs, most of the times, we identify the producer we want to work with and then we consider what sound we always want to have with the producer and then we get off with our craft.
For now, expect something that you have not heard in a while. And just know we like to create timeless music.
