In March 2023, renowned events promoter, media personality, and talent manager Omulangira Ndausi came up with the idea of inventing new band artists.
His inspiration? Because he has been part of the making of most of the thriving band artists in the local music industry.
Ndausi realised that earlier band artists had reaped enough from the business and abandoned band music.
The hoarse voiced media personality called upon any fresh artists who had not earned the spotlight for auditions at Vox Lounge in Makindye.
The auditions attracted over 470 entrants from which six artists were selected. He now promotes them in his new band – Cheza Productions.
On Saturday 31st August 2024, Ndausi is to launch the band at their new home at Ketra New Life Bar. The bar is located in Nasana, Masitowa – Kazinampanga and it’s where the band has been undertaking rehearsals since last year.
The event is set to be graced by renowned artists including Suuna Ben, Bettina Namukasa, Ronah Rhungi, Lil Pazo, Daxx Kartel, Rebecca Jingo, Bizonto, and Kazibwe Kapo among others.
It will also feature emcees ioncluding Omulangira Ndausi himself and Sureman Segawa.
