In February, it was revealed how the late singer Evelyn Lagu’s son, Freddie Kasavu, had been checked into a rehabilitation center as he struggled with mental health issues.
It was alleged he had resorted to using toxic substances following the discomfort he was going through after the untimely demise of his mother.
According to one of his caretakers, since Freddie Kasavu left rehab, he has been gradually improving and he seeks financial support and a job that could keep him busy.
He, however, stung all the individuals who pledged to look after Kasavu and extend support toward him but have failed.
Promoter Vegas has since requested people to stop making promises and pledges of supporting the families of the deceased when they are not sure of meeting the expenses that families may require.
He applauded singer Mesach Semakula for standing true to his word when he promised to offer Kasavu a job at his Papaz Spot restaurant.
