The day two of the 2025 USSSA Ball Games I, 2025 edition has climaxed with Amus College School takes the bragging rights as the side scoring the most goals in a single game on the day.
The 2023 Nationals champions, Amus College School dismantled, Gadafi Integrated School from Kampala Region.
The side hammered the once girls football giants 11-00 in the encounter honored on Wednesday at Amus College stadium.
Amus’ goals came from Nyakato Ruth who had Hat-trick, Faith Akol, Praxicidesi Shivan who bagged a brace each, Shafiga Tamisi, Wanda Edina and Wandera Doreen who scored each to make the final score at 11-0.
Amus College School equaled the record of Boni Consilii Girls Vocational School of the team that has scored the most goals in a single match this edition, followed by Kawempe Muslim who banged Katikamu SDA SS Nakaseke.
In other encounter , the Kampala Region champions, Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga hammered Armless, Masindi Army SS 6-1, thanks a brace from Atuhaire Shivon, goals from Aculu Comfort,Nakitende Monica, Nakivumbi Josephine and Nusula Nakintu.
Currently, the Shafic Mutebi coached side tops group E with three points and five goals difference, they will return in action on Thursday afternoon as they will be playing against Greater Mukono representative, Latifah Mixed SS.
King of Kings SS beat Bishop Comboni College 1-0, thanks to lone strike from Musimenta Dorothy.
St Noa’s opponent, Katakwi didn’t show up at the venue but Tororo Girls School managed to beat Acaba SS 3-2 in a five goals thriller.
The group stage action shall continue tomorrow (Thursday) with a number of fixtures in different venues at Amus College School and in Bukedea Town.
