The 2025 Edition of the USSSA ball games one officially kicked off today (Tuesday) with a number of matches in girls football at different playing venues.
The defending champions, Kawempe Muslim SS and Kibingo Girls highlighted the opener as the sides who have mercilessly banged their opponents.
Kawempe Muslim SS hammered Katikamu SDA SS Nakaseke 10-0 at Boma Grounds in Bukedea, while Kibingo Girls SS whitewashed Koro SS 8-1 in the other goal scoring encounter of the day.
Kampala Region top scorer, Agnes Nabukenya continued with her form, the versatile ball playing shining star netted six as her side was hammering Katikamu SDA SS.
She scored a brace in the first stanza before having a poker in the last stanza.
Winger Shadia Nabirye also scooped a brace with Cynthia Kirenga and Nabawanuka Belinda Hope also appearing on the score sheet.
In the other results in girls football, Jinja district champions, Jinja Progressive Academy beat Wakiso District representatives, Aidan College School 2-0.

Sacred Heart SS-Gulu needed to come from down to leapfrog resilient MM College Wairaka and beat them 3-2 in a five goals thriller.
The 2024 losing finalists, Rines SS also started on winning note, beating Jinja SS 2-1.
The action will resume tomorrow morning before the official opening ceremony.
