The Kampala Region zonal qualifiers for the 2025 USSSA Ball Games II finals in Tororo District successfully climaxed on Friday 20, June, 2025 at Kibuli SS.
Caltec Academy Makerere headlined the day after lifting their maiden football title in history following the 1-0 victory over Kawempe Muslim SS in boys football U16 final.
The two finalists have qualified to finals in Tororo; that’s Caltec and Kawempe Muslim.
Baptist High School continues with their dominance in Netball, again beat the hosts, Kibuli SS on final 24-23 to defend the trophy and qualify as regional champions. In Netball discipline, Kampala Region to be represented by six schools; Baptist High School, Kibuli SS, Kakungulu Memorial, Broadway High School – Kawempe, Lubiri SS and Mengo SS.
Kibuli SS wins the Volleyball boys trophy after beating Kyambogo College School on final. Nabisunsa Girls with a 3-0 victory against Rubaga Girls helped their to defend the trophy.
Kibuli SS won handball girls, Mengo SS took the boys category.
In mind games, St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School Kawaala won the chess competition in both boys and girls.
Makerere College School won the Scrabble trophy.
