Kayunga district had their Uganda Secondary Schools Sports associations U20 boys’ qualifiers kick off on Saturday 8th, March 2025.
Holders, St Mathias Kalemba Nazigo, 1st runners up, Namagabi Secondary School and St Mark High School Kayunga advanced to round of sixteen (16).
St Mark registered maximum points in group D games defeating Fountain of Hope High School Bukeeka by 4-0, Kanjuki Secondary School 3-0 and Uganda Martyrs Kayunga by 2-0. In the same group (D), Uganda Martyrs Kayunga finished 2nd with 6 points.
In group A played at Ndeeba Church of Uganda, St Mathias Kalemba registered maximum points defeating Uganda Martyrs Centenary and Kitimbwa Bright Future by 2-0 and 1-0 respectively. Kalemba was joined by Kitimbwa Bright Future who defeated Uganda Martyrs Centenary by 2-0.
At Busaana Town Council grounds, Namagabi Secondary School were victors defeating her counter parts in Green Valley Ssuka and Bbaale Secondary School by 2-0 and 3-0 respectively.
The executive committee will convene on Monday afternoon for group draws of the round of Sixteen (16) which will be played on Weekend.
