Ugandan singer Sheebah Karungi is to take a break away from the limelight after her concert scheduled for 4th October 2024 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
While at the press conference of her forthcoming concert dubbed “Neyanziza”, Sheebah revealed that she is set to take a break for a while.
The former Team No Sleep singer said she has been performing for the past 14 years and needs the break.
It is speculated that Sheebah will take time off to attend to her pregnancy and the yet-to-be-born baby.
It is just a break, I am not going forever. I have been performing since I was 14 years old, I am 34 years old now. I think God decided I take the break.
She, however, promises to keep releasing new music as she has been working on unreleased music projects for over a year.
Sheebah is positive that she will put up a good showcase for her fans at Lugogo Cricket Oval and calls upon them to turn up in big numbers.
This show is special, it’s not gonna be like any other. It’s not to prove anything, it’s a show of gratitude. I am thankful to God for having favoured me to sing for you for the last 14 years.
